Being the postpartum phase for three months, it is an exciting time where sleep is starting to happen that is also being greeted by more smiles. It is also a time when I have beeb reflected on my favorite tools and products that have got me through these past months as well as those that I am looking forward to using in the coming months. Here are some of our essentials for all moms and new babies.
Ollie Swaddle: Swaddling has been key for this mama with one of my favorites being The Ollie Swaddle. Designed for babies 0-4 months, the Ollie Swaddle works to improve quality and duration of sleep for all babies (including premies and high risk), reduces fussiness and helps baby self-calm. I love this as a part of our nighttime rountine where our three-month-old baby will consistently sleep six hours at night. This includes a swaddle that has elasticity that allows for freedom of movement while the opening at the bottom makes it easy to change diapers. Additionally, its custom developed moisture wicking material reduces overheating promoting physiological regulation as well as reduces the risk of SIDS and allows infants to stay in the supine position.
Sticky Bellies: To chart my daughters' age we have been loving the removable stickers from Sticky Bellies. A fantastic way to photograph (and remember) each month, I really love this for my third that captures the first year milestones with style and ease. This includes some favorites like the Aloe Tree pattern, the Patterned Princess and much more!
Two Moms in the Raw: As a breastfeeding mama I have to make sure that I am getting ample calories and the proper nutrition for myself and my baby. However, I am also a mama-on-the- go where I have been getting a burst of healthy snacks from TwoMoms in the Raw. Created in 2006 by Shari and Marsha (daughter and mom team) near Boulder, Colorado, Two Moms in the Raw features gluten free and raw food such as handmade, organic, raw and sprouted granola bars, nut bars, sea crackers, truffles, and grain free cereal. My favorite is their incredible granola that features a combination of seeds, nuts, fruits and spices that makes it a sweet, super enjoyable and healthy snack that is also high in protein and antioxidants, vitamin C, Omega 6 fatty acids and serotonin since the are all raw. This maximizes the health benefits of foods, preserves enzymes and even aids in digestion.
Paris Gordon Tees: For post-maternity fashions, I have been loving the stretch tees from Paris Gordon Essentials. This includes a new micro line of separates that are ideal for newbie moms in transition getting back to their pre-baby size. With both comfort and style in mind, PG5 has been designed for women of all ages who want to look modern, stylish and on-trend. Yet there is more to PG5 than style. Gordon has combined form and function to these classic pieces. Each is woven with a special patented ‘seamless’ control liner that provides ‘shapewear-esque’ body enhancement to address a lady’s problem areas. Made from 90% rayon and 10% Spandex/Jersey blend, each piece from the PG5 line is crafted with slimming qualities that makes you feel fantastic in styles that are modern and sleek. This includes an ultra-versatile and svelte Scoop Neck Tee, the practical Sexy Racerback Tank Top, the Tank and Scoop Neck Sleeveless Tee Dress, the Sleeveless Tee and the Sleeveless Dress, all utilizing classic silhouettes with a modern flair that moms will love.
Skimmies: As everything has been reformatting with my body, I have been living in my collection of Skimmes from Jockey. Featuring a collection of anti-static slipshorts that effortlessly work to smooth and cover the body. This allows you to wear them under your pants for no more cling as well as the ability to flatter your natural curves thanks to its stretchy and comfortable material. They also have wicking for all-day comfort - making them ideal of running around and working out. They also have a variety of beautiful cuts and styles such as the Jockey Skimmies Mini Slipshort (Light) Women's Underwear and the Jockey Skimmies Slipshort (Black) Women's Underwear for the ultimate in comfortable and stylish underwear.

Gold Violin Compression Socks: One of the most unexpected aspects of my last pregnancy was having varicose veins! I was advised to wear compression socks with my favorite being Gold Violin's "Support Like Crazy" compression knee-highs. This includes a beautiful variety of socks that come in hip colors and patterns, from animal prints and paisleys to neon pink and electric blue that work to support tired legs, reduce swelling and increase circulation.
Bio-Oil: One of my favorite essentials during pregnancy and the postpartum period was Bio Oil. Featuring a natural blend of Calendula, Chamomile, Lavender and Rosemary, plus Vitamins A and E, Purcellin Oil, and plant extracts to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks, uneven skin tone and scars, I love the light and easy-to-apply Bio Oil. While improving the appearance of the skin, I love how it nourishes, heals and hydrates the skin that is not greasy or heavy on the skin.

Use Your Words Onesie: We are loving the cutest way to teach babies to “Use Your Words" through a series of humorous and fun sayings that take a spin on daily challenge of parenting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This colorful collection of t-shirts and one-piece style body suits offers encouraging mantras like, ‘Kick Asphalt,’ ‘Your Pace or Mine?’ and ‘You Lift Me Up,’ to remind parents to be as active as possible while introducing their children to a healthy lifestyle through playful imagery and catchy phrases. The New Use Your Words collection retails for $19.99 - $29.99 and includes t-shirts and one-piece body suit styles in gray, hot pink, red, kelly green and turquoise, embossed with playful black and white illustrations that feature sweet and sassy fitness mantras.
Relax-a-Bye Baby: At three months old my daughter is getting increasingly more alert where she has been looking and reading with us during bedtime. One of our favorite new books is Relax-a-Bye Baby. Written by Mimi Sommers, this sweet book focuses on making bedtime relaxing through a nursery rhyme that not only helps their little ones ease into to sleep, but teaches them relaxation skills that can benefit them throughout their lives. While she is only a baby, I love how these skills can be fostered and nurtured from the start as it teaches kids to see bedtime as their time to rest after an active day and rejuvenate for another one.
