Monday Mingle: Winter Ready Fashion

Winter Ready

Last year, NYC experienced a winter of extreme temps and endless snowfall, so the first thing I did once summer ended was think about what exactly I needed in order to brave winter this season. I wanted to be as ready as I could possibly be, but also fashionable while doing so. I turned to my fashion guru friend and stylist from Dress Me Up & Down to find out what her top picks were.

Vanessa predicts oversized Shawls are a must-have this season and in all colors and patterns. This Zara Wrap can be worn alone or wrapped around your winter coat. And a girl can never get enough chunky sweaters. This Winter White Cable Knit is from H&M and can be worn with leggings or jeans. It will be sure to keep you warm during the chilly winter months and will add as the perfect staple in your wardrobe.

Let's talk about this sequin Head Wrap I am completely obsessed with. Vanessa picked this one up for me at H&M and not only will it keep you warm but its super fashionable and comes in an array of colors.

Last year, I decided last minute that I needed a real winter boot and by the time tried to purchase the super warm all-weather Sorel Boots, they were sold out everywhere. This year I got a head start and purchased these from Shop Bop a few weeks back. They are super warm and perfect for rain, snow, or sleet. Not to mention the fur lining adds a little fashion edge.

Now the only thing missing from my outfit is some snow and lower temps, which I am sure will be soon to come in NYC! Stay warm friends!
