Maternity Style

At six months pregnant I love this stage where tiredness isn't so much an issue and my bump has popped out. But the reality is in three months I will be a mom of three with my time stretched thin even more. With it being summer I have been trying to enjoy more date nights with my husband. In general, my style is pretty casual where I opt for stripes and simple flats but when I go out I look to glam up my look.

Monday Mingle

For this maternity look, I was thrilled with the chic dress from Veronique Maternity on GILT. As a celebration of Veronique Maternity's 30th birthday, the iconic New York City boutique—which has dressed everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Angelina Jolie—recently teamed up with GILT to offer an exclusive capsule collection of luxury maternity clothes for every aspect of an expectant mother's life. The piece I am wearing is the chic and so comfortable Tie Smart Dress ($66) that fits loosely and offers a cute cut at the knees. I love how it doesn't feel restrictive with its cute boatneck and tie belt as a fun and fashionable way to show off the bump.

Bonnie Dana Buchner

I completed the look with my favorite clutch from Bonnie Dana Buchner, a Brooklyn-based designer who focuses on personal experimentation and American production. BDB creates every sample by hand before bringing it to production so that we can stitch our own sensibility into the items. This luxury Compact Courier Bag is really fun for date night where you can place a few of your essentials and enjoy a night out without a big bag filled with snacks and other items from your kids.

El Naturalista Shoes

As for the shoes, I opted for these cute Crust LeatherAcai booties from El Naturalista. Featuring an elegant and feminine cute, I love the delicate boot that works well with the dress as well as with jeans. It also super comfortable that is made of leather and offers a cute and fun heel. As a brand, I also love how El Naturalista offers shoes that are made with raw materials that promote the manufacturing processes as well as craftsmanship. You can see that in the details that are beautiful and fashionable as well as a company that created socially responsible shoes for environment and takes care of those that make them.

As for the accessories, I picked some bangles I had at home with my favorite set of wooden bracelets from GivenGoods, a new socially conscious e-commerce site with beautifully curated items for the home and accessories but the website also is all about what happens after the transaction. These are great for going out or a casual look.
