The third trimester is all about comfort. With the excitement of the upcoming baby, I have been loving have a surge of energy that got me through the back-to-school season and our recent anniversary.
For our much-needed (and appreciated) night out, I opted for a simple, yet gorgeous MOM's Madison Maxi from MOM's the World. I love how this dress features a sleek cut that gives off a ruched look as it showcases the belly. I also love the length and how comfortable it is thanks to its signature double layer modal/spandex that flatters the body. This is also great for post maternity as a beautiful black dress that never goes out of style. As a brand for over 17 years, you can also discover an eclectic mix of brands, styles and prices that Mom’s the Word carries who believes that pregnant women are just women who are pregnant and should still be able to love getting dressed every morning.
To compliment the look, I paired it with a basic black necklace from JustFab and earrings from Made It, a website where you can connect with the best craftsman and artists where the final say is actually determined by you. This includes chic and trendy pieces with my favorite being the fun Silver Wire Fringe Hoop Earrings that are a fantastic compliment to any summer outfit with its silver and black double layers that goes really well with the dress.
As for the bags, I am loving the new HUGGIES Clutch ‘n’ Clean* Wipes where you can store your diapers in a chic clutch. This features the perfect mix of being super functional and fashionable with its fun yellow handle and gorgeous prints such as dots, stripes and florals that easily opens up where you can place your wipes for a quick way to grab-and-go whenever you are out and about with your baby or child.

Another bag that I will be carrying around once baby gets here is the Hideaway Hobo from Petunia Pickle Bottom. Featuring the beautiful Vienna print, this chic bag is a great way to carry around all of your everyday essentials for baby without being bulky (like most diaper bags). I also love how this bag features a shoulder-carry handles t- giving off a striking silhouette with interior and hidden front pockets. Perfect for wipes, diapers and changes of clothes, this bag is also easy-to-clean thanks to its glazed coated cotton canvas.
As for the shoes, I had fun with these stylish Rockports. Renowned as a comfortable brand, Rockports have upped their style game with these Seven to 7 High Plain Pump in Atlantis (the High Plain Plump also comes in red, melon, black, tan and more). The concept behind these shoes is that you can comfortably wear them from 7am to 7pm without any pain in your feet at the end of the day. I never wear heels so I love (and appreciate) how comfortable love these shoes are as well as how they have a fun pop of color that stands apart from the black dress.
