If there is something that this mama loves, it’s loungewear…I mean who doesn’t sigh with contentment when she slips on a pair of yoga pants. So, if loungewear is such an important part of our wardrobe, shouldn’t it be a part of our kiddos’ closets too?
As girly as my daughter is, she’s definitely rough and tumble, so when she’s just hanging around our house, she’s not exactly just hanging around. She’s actually bouncing off the walls most of the time. Haha! So, when she’s running, jumping, climbing and doing whatever else she does to give me a heart attack, I want her to be comfortable…
Enter baby loungewear. Yes..It DOES exist! They actually make tiny little lounge pants that might be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Now I love a good dress. I’m just as girly as my baby, but after seeing her in her loungewear, I have to say it gives her dresses a run for their money. I also love that so many children’s loungewear pieces are organic. Nothing feels better against your skin than organic cotton and like most moms, my kids’ skin is more important than my own, and thus, I’ve filled their wardrobes are filled with organic pieces. So, obviously organic loungewear is right up my alley.

Burt’s Bees Baby was kind enough to send me some of the pieces from their new baby clothing line and they couldn’t be any cuter. Even if you aren’t a yoga pants kinda girl and wouldn’t put your baby in them either, there are plenty of other options out there. From comfy tanks with ruffle details to easy breezy t-shirt dresses, a kid’s loungewear option can definitely include more than yoga pants!
And there is one more thing that I consider an important part of lounging at my house. A soft blanket. When the AC is going full blast, it can get a little chilly, even in the summer, so my kids love cuddling up with a ligthweight blanket. Eden & Zoe has the cutest lightweight cotton blankets. They're perfect for the warm weather months!
