Introducing Jammies prêt-à-porter

Stroller. check. Crib. check. Bottles. check. Everyone knows the traditional gifts to shower on a new mom-to-be, but now there is a new must-have for any expecting mom on your list. Introducing Jammies pret-a-porter, delicious little luxuries that are just about sweet enough to eat. A collection of stylish, ultra-luxe comfort wear for babies, Jammies pieces come packaged in adorable little jam jars that make for the ultimate baby shower – or anytime – gift.

Siblings Meryl and Brian Levy are the dynamic duo behind the clever brand. The concept was originally conceived by their father back in the 80’s, when he would gift pajamas in a jar to friends and family who were expecting. Now, years later, Meryl and Brian have adapted the idea into a more refined, modern concept. Catering to newborns through 9 months, each Jammies garment arrives in its own jar made of recycled, BPA-free plastic. The jars are modern and sophisticated, and can be reused for q-tips, cotton balls, make-up pads, or your little one’s socks.

We love the ribbed bodysuits with their inseam snaps, pants and jumpsuits as well as how they are made with the softest cottons and rayons. With a solid base of Grey (otherwise known as Poppy Seed) or Cream, fun flares are added with bright colored trims, using catchy flavors, er, names, such as Watermelon, Kiwi and Plum.

Jammies is designed and made in the USA, with items retailing between $46 and $78. They are available on the website,
