How to Diminish the Appearance of Cellulite
I'm going to talk about something most of us don't like to even think about. Get ready...today's topic of choice is cellulite. UGH. I know. Most of us have at least a few unsightly dimples, but we'd rather not be reminded of their existence. Am I right? Unfortunately, our propensity to get cellulite has a lot to do with genetics, but that doesn't mean we have to give up the fight!
Step one is to focus on diet and exercise. While, losing weight won't completely eradicate cellulite, I've found that eating a clean diet, exercising regularly and staying hydrated has made my cellulite much less noticeable. And I'm not talking about being a cardio queen. Make sure you get in your strength training. You won't notice a cellulite on muscular legs. You'll notice how strong looking those stems are!
The next step is to add smoothing, firming and even self tanning products to your beauty regimen. Again, these products won't make your cellulite disappear, but they will certainly diminish its appearance! Start first by exfoliating your body. This will provide the nice, soft base you will need to apply your self tanner and firming products. Bliss Micro Magic Spa-Powered Microdermabrasion Treatment will leave your skin nice and smooth. Then you can apply Bliss Firm Baby Firm Moisturizing Gel-Cream or SkinCeuticals Body Tightening Concentrate to help those legs you've been working so hard on making stronger look even firmer.
And finally, there is the color factor. The tanner you are, the less noticeable cellulite will be. This sunscreen lovin' girl would never suggest that you tan to achieve color, but a nice self-tanner every now and again is just fine. Why not try Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturizer for Face & Bronzing Body Lotion? If you're looking for a gradual, subtle glow, this is the product for you!
I am not a medical professional. These are simply my personal observations. You should always check with your physician before beginning a new diet or exercise routine.
