'Tis the season for festive get-togethers, holiday parties, winter performances and holiday suits for boys. All this means my three boys have had to trade in their uniform of shorts, tees and flip flops for things a bit more formal.
Holiday Suits for Boys
I could be wrong since I don't have girls, but it seems that there is an abundance of adorable girls' dresses everywhere you look. But suits for boys? That's always been trickier to find. Lucky for you, we've rounded up a few of our favorites for boys at a variety of price points to keep your dudes looking dapper for the holidays.
Holiday Suits from Appaman
One of our favorite features of Appaman's suits are their slim fit. Not a great choice if you have a husky son, but for my bean poles (or for kids that can rock a skinny jean), I love that this suit actually fits my son's frame without looking like he's drowning in fabric.
Choose one of the suit sets or mix-and-match your own pants and jacket for a unique look. We also love all the hip accessories Appaman offers like adorable bow ties, kid-style ties and hats.
Holiday Suits from Black N Bianco
Black N Bianco - We came across this site on a whim and had our doubts. A 5-piece suit for $33? Yeah, we were skeptical. We expected something similar to many Halloween costume materials that will last for exactly one wearing before they disintegrate. Luckily, we were pleasantly surprised. The material and construction of the suits from Black N Bianco was quality, not paper thing and threadbare. The suit's been worn half a dozen times and hasn't as much as lost a button.
In addition to the affordable price, we also love that these suits include the whole package - pants, jacket, shirt, tie and in many cases, a vest or faux pocket square too. Plus these suits in come size 2T up to kids 20, with some available in sizes as small as 3 months. Perfect for picking up matching suits for all the boys in your family.

Skip the Crowds and Take Your Family Skiing in Waterville Valley

Holiday Suits from Izod
IZOD - Another one of our favorites suits brand for boys is IZOD. You can find these suits at many JC Penney's and Belk department stores. IZOD sells their suits as separates which means not only do they offer lots of mix-n-match pieces like blazers and slacks, but also that you can buy a medium shirt and vest and a small pants, or visa versa. We tried out a black vest suit with a festive green plaid clip on tie.
IZOD suit separates also come in both regular sizes as well as Husky Fit sizes (jackets and pants) and Slim Fit (pants only). In addition to offering sizes from boys 4 up to 20 (and some suits down to 2T), this makes it easy to buy a suit that actually fits your little (or big) guy.
So whether it's a winter wedding or a holiday performance, help your little dude get dressed for the season with one of our favorite suits. And remember, just because they're in suits, doesn't means they still won't be silly.
