Fun Looks for Toddler Girls

It's official - my youngest daughter is now a toddler. She has been for some time now, but the reality hit me the other day as she was running around getting into everything and then breaking out into a song the next. Full of energy with many ups and downs in between she is a burst of sunshine that is also turning out to be a fashionable one.

Since she is my second we do pass down a lot of items from my older daughter, but she also has a few fun pieces of her own that are great for spring. Here are some of my favorites:

1. CHOOZE SHOES: This fun shoe company offers a vibrant and fun collection of shoes, sneakers, sandals, and play shoes that are functional as well as super cute. Featuring unique prints and a broad range of styles, I love their mix-and-match concept that blends different styles on both feet. My daughter loves the Dance in Behave Pink Fabrics featuring floral and circles. Personally, I love the padded insoles that are super sturdy thanks to their canvas uppers and comfortable adjustable straps. Other fun styles include Breeze in Sweet Love and Twirl in Charm Red for girls and Breeze in Rockout and Chill in Tune for boys.

2. Headbands: Since my daughter's hair is growing, I want to keep the hair our of her eyes as much as possible. To do so we have been using a lot of headbands with some favorites being the Buddie Bands from Monkeybar Buddies. Available in a variety of colors, these handbands provide an incredible stretch that is perfect for the active toddler or girl. They also feature velvet on the underside - enabling them to stay put all day. Also, Monkeybar Buddies will be donating $1 to the Donor’s Choose Organization for every headband purchase. For a chic and sophisticated headband I have been loving Andrea's Beau Hair Accessories for Girls and Moms. Offering headbands for special occassions like the cute Savannah Headband and the Genevieve Partout Headband as well as cute clips like the Natalie Snap Clip Set and the Georgie Snap Clip Set for everyday wear.

3. Sweatshirts: I recently learned about In Your Heart NY
and loved their curated collection collection of unique children's/tweens apparel & accessories, custom jewelry, and other original finds for 'hip' adults! One of my favorite pieces is the Studded Heart sweatshirt that offers a cute mix of style with functionality - thanks to the super soft material. Other fun designs are the Cupcake TankStrawberries shirt and cute Girls Rock shirt.

4. Dresses: One of my favorite new brands is Lolly Wolly Doodle. I meet with the owner during a recent luncheon and I loved hearing all about this American-made company that focuses on gorgeous patterns for kids. Some of my favorites are their gorgeous florals and chevron that is seen throughout their collection of shirts, shorts, t-shirts and dresses. Some favorites are the Orange Navy Whale Halter Maxi Dress and the Red Chevron Turquoise Dot Sun Dress that both of my daughters have been loving. In fact, my older daughter wears the maxi so much that she has been wearing it for 5 days straight! Not just for toddlers, the line goes up to age 12 where you can discover incredibly cute pieces like the Pink Chevron Smock Lime Dot Bloomer SetBreeze Ruffle Leggings, and the fun Yellow Cotton Tie Dress for summer.

Another unique aspect of the company is that they are the largest employer in Lexington, NC where everything is cut, stitched, and shipped from. This includes creating over 100 jobs - helping an area that was hit very hard by the recession.
