Arts and crafts at home, lakeshore learning

We love getting crafty at home and recently I realized that also means that our crafts need to find an order. Thankfully we discovered Lakeshore Learning, a company that is renowned among teachers for providing high quality educational materials for the classroom, with their collection of arts and crafts and organizational items (among many others) To encourage, learning and educational activities at home, Lakeshore recently introduced a fun new line of educational toys for the home!

From cool building sets and discovery toys to hands-on educational games, Lakeshore’s Learning at Home products get kids excited about learning! Personally, we tested out the Arts & Crafts Supply Center, which was the perfect answer to our love of crafts that was also organized! Designed for kids pre-k age and up, my daughter loves going to her desk and getting to work on arts and crafts projects using the included creative craft supplies such as markers, stickers, fuzzy pom-poms, colored wiggly eyes, sparkly pipe stems & much more! The kit also includes an activity book with 14 memorable projects. We also love the All-In-One Art Studio, a cool collection of arts and supplies that kids can take with them. We love this for long trips or short ones on the subway. This includes a kit that is packed with colored pencils, washable markers, glitter writers, paint & more as well as 35 art tools to make a masterpiece while on-the-go.

Another fun craft that we love for the home is the Roominate, a DIY dollhouse kit that allows girls to design and build anything they can dream of, and then turn it on. Designed for girls 6 and up, this kit includes everything to have a functioning home including running lights, elevators, a merry-go-round and even a windmill, the battery-operated motor powers the rooms while empowering girls to complete their vision for an interactive home design. My older had a blast putting this together as she learned to to make bunk beds, water slides, staircases, fridges, and much more, while the wall and floor panels are designed to build two-level structures, balconies or backyards.

Finally, we are loving the cool way to play with the America! My Girls Dollhouse, a beautiful, enormous, high-quality customizable wood dollhouse where precious 18" dolls can reside along with their furniture and clothing. Definitely for families with space, the My Girl's Dollhouse measures in at 6 Feet Tall, 5 Feet Wide, and 2-feet deep and girls can select one of two beautiful external styles - one with a more sophisticated look and the other in pinks and pastel colors for a more whimsical look - both built with the same high quality wood frame. Collectors at any age can visit www.mygirlsdollhouse.com, visualize their dream house and choose between a Country French style, a Sweet Bungalow style, a Cape Cod style, or a Colonial Cottage style.

My Girl's Dollhouse is available by visiting www.mygirlsdollshouse.com or www.goodtoy.com.
