Favorite Coconut Finds

The coconut trend is going away anytime soon. And why should it? Considered a "super food," Coconut oil is believed to beneficial to the skin, hair, immune system, metabolism and more. From our favorite coconut-based recipes to skincare items, here is how we are enjoying this healthy food.

Coconut Oil:

As for the actual oil, we love the Garden of Life Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and the Organic Coconut Oil from Nature's Way - both of which contain premium extra virgin, unrefined and unbleached coconuts.

Coconut Recipes:

As a rich food, we love cooking with coconut and discovered some delicious recipes online, including the Southern Coconut Cake from Spinach Tiger and Gluten-Free Lemon Bars from The Sweet Tooth Life.

Coconut Drinks:

For the kids, we love Ella’s Kitchen® Organic Coconut Water Electrolyte* Drinks .Available in two delicious flavors (Pears + berries and Banana + ginger) and are packed with naturally-occurring electrolytes – 170mg Chloride, 110mg Potassium and 115-120mg Sodium per serving – to help replenish lost nutrients and electrolytes.

To celebrate the launch of the new movie, Big Hero 6FAL Food and Beverages will feature Big Hero 6 characters on their Coco Joy Kids brand drinks. As an all-natural fruit-flavored, pure coconut water for kids, Coco Joy Kids products featuring Big Hero 6 characters will be available at retail starting October 25, 2014.
