Four Lip Colors I'm Loving

Did you know that today is National Lipstick Day. And if you know me, you know I love my lippies. Even if I don't have time to put on makeup, you'll rarely catch me leaving my house without at least a bit of concealer and lip color on. Whether we're talking about lipstick, lip gloss or a liquid lip color that's somewhere in between, I have a large and in charge collection of lip colors and I'm sharing several today that have risen to the top of the pile.

lipcolors (1)

1. Let's start with a nice, natural color. L'oreal Extraordinaire by Color Riche in Dancing Rose is a lovely liquid lip color that looks pretty pigmented in the tube, but glides on as a neutral hue with a hit of pink. The texture is perfectly pleasant. I hate it when liquid lip colors are super sticky and this one isn't sticky in the slightest.

2. Urban Decay Naked Lip Gloss in Rule 34 is slightly thicker in texture, but by no means unpleasant. It definitely lives up to its Naked name and when on looks like a slightly deeper version of my natural lip color. It's perfect for every day and would make a lovely partner for a pair of dramatic smokey eyes!

3. On the other side of the coin, let's talk about the bright side of things. I've been rockin' Bobbi' Brown's Cosmic Raspberry, a super pigmented pink, for a couple years now and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It's a beautiful bright, fuchsia shade that works on a variety of skin tones and will lift your spirits in an instant. It's definitely my go-to happy color!

4. Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Kristen was a slam dunk for me simply because of its name. Haha! Seriously's a fun, gloss with a slight shimmer and whisper of pink that's perfect for summer. Who am I kidding? I'll be wearing it long past summer! Everyone need a subtle, girly pink in their lippy collection.
