We love fashion that gives back, and one of our favorite new companies is Sevenly, a fashion and apparel website that partners with a different charity every week and sells clothes and accessories that correlates with that charity. This includes t-shirts, jewelry and more with cute graphics, colors and words of hope matching that cause.
Started by Dale Partridge and Aaron Chavez (ages 26 and 19) who had already come to the conclusion that it takes many a lifetime to realize: money doesnt buy happiness. They realized that the biggest problem wasnt just the fact that millions were in need, it was that billions were watching it happen and didn't care. However, the last thing this generation needed was to be hit up for another donation. People wanted more. They needed more trust. They wanted more connection.
It was then the idea of Sevenly was born. It was a perfect marriage between what the market needed and Dale and Aarons personal need for more meaning and fulfillment.Inspired by their faith and a sincere belief that people matter, Dale and Aaron both left their current businesses to pursue the unfolding vision of Sevenly.
Today, Dale and Aaron continue their vision of leading a generation towards generosity by building Sevenly into the worlds largest cause awareness platform. Sevenly introduces a new cause every week on their website. For each cause, they provide information and a video, educating its audience about how and why they need to care and for every purchase, Sevenly donates $7.00 to that charity and when the week is up the clothes are no longer available. In less than two years, they've raised nearly $1.8 million for charities. In fact, Sevenly is one of the worlds fastest-growing and largest cause-related companies as it provides the connection between those in need and those that want to help.
Fashion is so much more than clothes and accessories. Its about a lifestyle, its about projecting who you are and what you represent, and for those looking to make a difference in this world, its about Sevenly.
