MadamePicasso

We have been loving the release of the new book Madame Picasso by Anne Girard. This honest and powerful story illuminates the untold story of the powerful woman behind one of the most famous men in history. An instant page-turner, this book follows the world of the focal character, Eva Gouel, an ambitious character who moves to Paris and discovers work as a costumer at Moulin Rouge. She meets the artist Pablo Picasso who gets drawn into his world as we follow along through the salon of Gertrude Stein to the glamorous Moulin Rouge and inside the studio and heart of history’s most influential artist. It is also incredible to read a book about such a strong heroine as we recount her journey and the historical significance presented by Girard.

If you like sexy spy stories, you should check out Lethal Bond (Jamie Bond Mysteries #3)by Gemma Halliday and Jennifer Fischetto. In the third installment of this highly popular series which combines fashionable agents, intrigue, and humor, Jamie discovers her on-again, off-again boyfriend Assistant District Attorney Aiden Prince may be involved in a corruption scandal. As if that isn’t stressful enough, her best friend Danny is interested in taking their platonic relationship to the next level and then her dad decides to go missing. A light mystery with plenty of spice, we guarantee you’ll want to read more by this New York Times best-selling author.
