Last night was television's big night, the 65th annual Emmys Awards Show. There were some hits and a few misses, but overall it was a beautiful night for fashion! I'm like a magpie when it comes to sparkle and I was especially thrilled with those that glittered last night...

First up, we have Guiliana Rancic's stunning blue MIKAEL D gown. The bright blue hue looked lovely with her skin tone and the metallic embellishments made the dress that much more special.

Linda Cardellini's Donna Karan Atelier ruffled number was all drama. It made the kind of statement you WANT to make on the red carpet! And her side swept hair was the perfect finishing touch.

Cobalt is my happy color, so I of course LOVED Tina Fey's curve hugging Narciso Rodriguez number. Sometimes I think it's hard for Tina to embrace just how hot she is and it was refreshing to see her flaunting those curves!

Now that you've seen some of my favorites, here are a couple looks I didn't love. Mayim Bialik's emerald gown just didn't work for me for her. It's not that the Oliver Tolentino gown isn't pretty, because it it. I would just have loved for Mayim to opt for something a little less conservative. She's still young and could totally pull off something more daring! And Connie Britton's Naeem Kahn velvet, mermaid style gown wasn't one of my favorites either. Her hair looked amazing, but the embroidered dress reminded me a bit too much of overly ornate curtains.

Speaking of hair, not only did the Emmys attendees bring it with their gowns, but they sported some killer hairstyles as well!

Claire Danes stepped out in a beaded Armani Prive gown and wore her hair in a faux bob style, created by Peter Butler with John Frieda Hair Care products. It was deceptively simple and didn't hide her gown's stunning back. I love the unexpected dash of sexiness that an open back can give a ball gown...Don't you?

John Frieda International Creative Consultant Harry Josh gave Rose Byrne the polished waves that perfectly set off her sleek Calvin Klein Collection gown. And did anyone notice her new color? She went decidedly lighter, and I must say, I'm loving it!

So, whose Emmy's look did you love?
