With Earth Day just a few weeks away (it is on April 22), we are excited to salute brands that live consciously all the time every day. Starting with essentials from the beginning for our babies, here are some essentials to get them started right from day one.

Seventh Generation: I love their gentle diapers that are made of natural brown core fiber. The beauty of these diapers is that they are super absorbent, free of fragrances, latex, petroleum-based lotions and chlorine processing. I also love their new Free & Clear Baby wipes that use 70% less plastic than their old wipes through the use of plant materials. Another favorite is the Seventh Generation Natural 4x Baby Laundry Detergent uses plant-derived enzymes to keep baby clothes fresh and clean without chemical brighteners. Plus it's hypoallergenic.

So Rad Products: These products are all carefully handcrafted in Canada using low carbon footprint, environmentally friendly bamboo with a mixture of organic cotton fabrics (70% Bamboo, 30% Cotton), extra soft on bebe’s gentle skin. Offering UV protection, antibacterial properties (the clothes won’t smell) and naturally hypoallergenic properties. Some of our favorite products are the Mod Dress and the Change Pad.

guzzie+Guss: A line of full-functional strollers use luxurious, breathable, heavy gauge nylon fabrics, making the seat and canopyresistant to wear, water and fading. They offer convenient lightweight models, perfect for traveling and compact enough to fit in the smallest spaces.

Global Love gPants: We love the gDiapers and the release of Global Love gPants, a soft vanilla diaper cover artistically designed with “fill the world with love” in blues and greens, colors reminiscent of our planet. The limited edition Global Love gPants will be available on http://www.gdiapers.com/shop/"gDiapers.com and select retailers on March 27, 2013, just in time for Earth Day.
