We're only a few weeks into the school year here and my little kindergartner is already beat! Not only is he getting up a lot earlier than he's used to, but going to school all day long five days a week is a big change for him, so when he gets home after his school day, he likes to decompress for a while. That means comfy clothes are most necessary! And what's comfier than sweats? They're the ultimate after school lounge wear. Don't you think?
If I let him, my little dude would wear sweats every day to school. He loves "comfy pants," as he calls them, that much...Luckily there are some sweats so cute that they're perfectly appropriate for school...And when the weather finally cools down, I bet he'll be rockin' them at school more often than not, but in the meantime, once he's at home in the nice cool air conditioning and not running around the hot Florida playground, he'll be lounging in his comfy sweats after school.
Now for some of you, the word sweats might evoke images of plain old athletic gear. That doesn't have to be the case at all. Kids' designers have come up with some seriously cool sweats that your kiddos and their fashion lovin' mamas are sure to love! I know I'm certainly eyeing most of these up for my own son!
I can't get over how fabulous the distressed look the Kings of Cole sweats have. Pair the hoodies with leggings and jeans and the sweat pants with graphic tees for an urban cool comfy chic look! The cool green, denim and blush tones will fit right in with this fall's boys and girls fall wardrobes.
And there's always my favorite haunt J. Crew...Their boys' sweatshirts are so adorable, I would have no problem putting both my boy AND girl in them!
