This week I found out more about a trend I absolutely do not like--chronic migraines. As a part of the launch of,

I learned all about chronic migraines, triggers, solutions and treatment. It was eye-opening to say the least.

Did you know:  Chronic migraines are characterized by someone experiencing a migraine (a headache of 4+ hours) 15 times or more in a month. We talked with Doctor Susan Broner, a head neurologist and headache specialist. Dr. Broner informed me that a migraine is not a regular headache. It is a specific inheirtied neurological disorder. And this disorder is more common than asthma and diabetes combined.

There are more than 3.2 million people suffering from migraines. What causes them? Triggers include (but are not limited to: sleep habits, diet, overuse of acute medications). Did you know: Women are 3x more likely to suffer from migranes than men. What happens during a migraine? Sufferers experience light sensitivity, nausea, lack of energy, noise sensitivity, smell sensitivity.
