NYC talk show hosts Denise, Raina and Melissa (of www.momsandthecity.net) brought together a group of local bloggers for an afternoon of back-to-school strategy at Staples.
Staples is teaming up with Moms And the City to bring school supplies to the neediest students. This is the 4th annual Staples for Students program--it'??s the perfect way for all of us to do something to help others. Collection boxes will be strategically located at Staples check outs'??purchase an extra pack of pens and toss them in, alternatively you can add a dollar or two onto your total at the register with the proceeds going to the school program. something near and dear to our hearts. The ladies of Pretty Little Liars are the faces of this campaign.
Another program highlighted at the event was the Staples 15% Savings Pass. From now until august 13th, parents can buy a savings card for $10. The card entitles families to 15% off on all school supplies.
Bloggers were also treated to a little preview of what'??s cool and trendy in the world of school supplies'??that would be 3D notebooks and animal print pens.
The event concluded with a rousing game of back-to-school bingo. Thank to Moms In The City for hosting such a fab event. I can'??t say I'??m ready for summer to end, but I do feel more prepared for the inevitable.
Momtrends was not paid for this post, but we did get some BTC swag from Staples.
