Best Swaddles for Babies

Swaddling has been amazing way for both my baby and I to get some sleep these past few months. As a mom of three this is is essential, but it took awhile to find just the right swaddle that wasn't too difficult for me that also offered my baby comfort and connected her to the womb. Here are a few of my favorites:

1. Summer Infant Swaddle: Summer Infant has an incredible line of swaddlers for newborns through the first year. For the newborn stage, we love the Swaddle Pod and how it creates a cozy and womb-like experience for your baby. Keeping them snug and cozy, this swaddle is so easy-to-use where you simply have to zip it closed for a super comfortable fit.

Ergo Swaddler

2. ErgoBaby Swaddle: We have been loving the ErgoBaby swaddle that features a healthy hip positioner, arm pockets, and a leg pouch. Super easy-to-use, this swaddle has a super soft and quiet velcro that gently places the flaps together as it instantly soothes and calms your baby.

Halo Swaddle

3. Halo® SleepSack® Swaddle: This 2-in-1 swaddle allows you to have the option to have the arms out or not. I loved this during the newborn stage to keep my babies' arms snug and then later on to have them free. Recognized as “Hip Healthy” by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, this swaddle also features an inverted zipper for easy diaper changes and it can be used instead of sleepwear to take the place of loose blankets.

Ollie Swaddle

4. The Ollie Swaddle: Named after and invented for Oliver, a foster baby that wasn’t thriving until Ollie Swaddle founder (and his foster mom) Hindi developed The OllieSwaddle. The Ollie improves quality and duration of sleep for all babies (including premies and high risk), reduces fussiness and helps baby self-calm. The elasticity allows for freedom of movement while the opening at the bottom makes it easy to change diapers. Its custom developed moisture wicking material reduces overheating promoting physiological regulation.
