We've looked long and hard for the best snow boots for your tots. We admit becoming a little obsessive about checking the weather forecast this winter. We know we're not crazy. So, let's talk snow boots. These are my favorites and not only do they get the job done, but they look fabulous, too.
It really is snowing more than most winters and considering that it'??s only the end of January, we'll have a whole lot more snow before that little rascal ground hog goes back in his hole or comes out and sees his shadow'¦ or whatever he does. Be prepared to keep your kiddos toes toasty and dry with one of these choices.
My daughter's new snow boots are a big hit with her preschool crowd. No, they don't have princesses on them, but as I told her, 'A princess would definitely wear them. Stuart Weitzman Girls' Baby Vance Snow Boots are available in metallic pink or silver with a faux fur collar and faux wool lining. The rugged outsole gives the boots a great grip in slippery weather and the reinforced toe keeps them looking like new through a long winter. I know my daughter's feet will stay warm and dry and she can still look and feel like a princess. Not bad considering there's slush and dirty snow covering our driveway.
For my younger daughter, I've been using Ralph Lauren Girls' Hamilten Ez Snow Boots and they are brilliant! Basically, they are water-resistant nylon bags that are worn over their shoes or socks. But they're also adorable with bright, contemporary colors and fun images like dragon-flies, dinosaurs, butterflies, skull and cross bones and many more. Cozy fleece liners are available for extra comfort and warmth. Two adjustable toggles ensure a snug fit. I love that I can slip them over Robeez or any indoor shoe and my toddler is ready for the snow! For ages newborn to 2.5 years. By the way, a bunch of styles are on-sale right now!
Skip the Crowds and Take Your Family Skiing in Waterville Valley
After a sizable snow storm over Martin Luther King weekend, there were plenty of lift lines and skiers heading to Vermont. Amazingly, most of them drove right past an awesome resort. I'm encouraging families to skip the crowds on the next winter holiday and take a family ski trip ...read more

We love the Sorel Girl's The Campus Tall Childrens Boot and the cool Sorel Joan Of Arctic Boot. I think the name says it all. Available in several fashionable colors like lavender, navy, black and pink with contrasting colored stitching and trimmed with a cute faux fur cuff. Insulated and waterproof to stay warm in the coldest weather. Boots open extra wide so you can slip them on your little squirmer and get out the door fast. And when you get out the door fast, extra traction helps prevent slipping!
Enjoy the snow and stay warm!
