I have always had sensitive skin but after my pregnancy I noticed that several products that I used in the past were too harsh '?? leaving my skin red and irritated. Luckily, now there are numerous products on the market that cater to this skin type featuring gentle solutions that can help with anything from acne to redness to blotchy skin all while effectively calming and treating the skin. Here are some products we have been loving to treat even the most delicate skin types.
Bionée Organic Certified Skin Care. Created by Eva Asmar, a mom and cosmetics industry leader, Bionée was developed after Asmar'??s pregnancy when she sought to create a certified, organic skin care line that specialized in beauty products for babies, mothers, and pregnant women. During my pregnancy I used their Revitalizing Face Cream ($29.99), which served as a tiny miracle in a bottle that awakened my tired and dull skin. I loved how this all-natural and chemical-free product, which is designed to reverse the appearance of aging, contained gentle ingredients like leaf water, coconut oil and flower water to treat my delicate skin. The company also has a line of sensitive skin products for moms and babies like a Renewing Shampoo ($28.00) and a Body Caress lotion ($15.00) that is designed to protect a baby'??s skin with omegas, vitamins and minerals.
Belli Skin Care. Developed my a dermatologist, Belli includes a line of products for pregnancy, motherhood and babies whose products do not contain parabens, dyes, BPA, fragrance, or allergens. All skin care products are teratology screened '?? meaning that they do not contain anything harmful like ingredients that can cause birth defects or any other problems during pregnancy. During my pregnancy, I loved using their gentle Acne Cleansing Facial Wash ($22.00) that treated my spots while also cleansing and exfoliating my skin. The wash also contained all-natural ingredients like lemon peel oil, green tea extract and cucumber with no salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide (ingredients that aren'??t recommend during pregnancy). I also love their Say No to Stretchmarks ($79.00) that moisturizes and treats marks thanks to grapeseed oil and Vitamin E and their Calm Me Hair and Body Wash ($12.00), a light wash for kids that contains chamomile and Marigold.
Ren Skin Care.A recent discovery, I have been loving Ren'??s line of products for sensitive skin that contains no fragrances, petrochemicals, sulfate detergents and synthetic colors. Their sensitive skin line includes a range of cleaners and serums like their ClearCalm3 Replenishing Night Serum ($30.00) that is designed to treat pigmented scars, breakouts and blemishes all while making the skin even. I love how soothing the product feels as well as the results that left my skin with less scarring and redness. Ren'??s line also includes products for men, the body as well as various skin types (normal, oily, and combination).
