Our baby girl loves her bath time. She has taken to the water like a little mermaid and it is such a pleasurable time for both of us. But I know bathtime can be a challenge, and a stressful time for baby and mama. This mama of three has rounded up the latest in bath trends for baby so you can have a positive, safe and enjoyable time splashing around with your babe.
Aden + Anais: I am a big fan of all things Aden + Anais. The quality of their products always impresses me and I find the price point fair. We have been using the new mum + bub Australian Sandlewood bubble bath on our baby girl and I love how it smells. ( I have been using it too!) This safe, tear-free formulation is gently cleansing and Free of sulfates, DEA, betane, phosphates, phthalates, parabens, synthetic dyes, harsh chemicals, gluten, and soy. It is gentle on the skin, non drying and leaves a calming, subtle scent of heavenly Sandlewood behind. The bubble bath (and all other mum + bub products) are endorsed by world-renowned NYC dermatologist, Dr. Ellen Gendler. The new bubble bath retails for $13.95.
Angelcare Bath Support: Recommended for babies 6 months and under, Angelcare's Bath Support offers a safe, supportive and comfortable way to bathe your baby. I love that the one piece, ergonomically correct design, the porous rubber material (more gentle on baby's skin) and the quick drying design (no tough plastic corners for mold and mildew to lurk and grow). The Angelcare Bath Support comes in two fun colors, has a non slip base, and features a water-level indicator for just -right bathing. The Angelcare Bath Support is durable yet lightweight and the handy hook makes for easy storage when not in use. Available online at Amazon.com, RightStart.com, BabyAge.com, Sears.com and Target.com, $29.99.
Boon: I am in love with the Flo bubble bath dispenser/spout cover from Boon. Talk about a way to make bathtime super fun for everyone! The Flo protective faucet cover dispenses bubble bath, and creates a soft waterfall for an innovative and fun way to rinse. I love that it slips on so easily and we still have easy access to the shower diverter all while providing excellent protection from the hard faucet. Another big plus for me is that it is BPA-free, Phthalate-free and PVC-free so I don't have to worry about chemical off -gasing while my children are getting clean. The kids get such a kick out of pressing the button for bubbles and I love that my older children can be a bit independent during bath time. Boon's Flo retails for $17.99.

Skip Hop: Trying to rinse baby's soapy body, and ensuring your not getting suds in their eyes or slipping near the water can be awkward and stressful. The Moby Waterfall Rinser has a unique design that enables you to quickly and safely rinse baby. The handle is easy to hold so you can manage it with one hand, and the soft covered spout makes sure you don't clunk the hard plastic into baby's precious bean~another parenting faux pax to avoid. My older children enjoy the cute Moby the Whale design and happily rinse themselves and their bath dolls with ease.
