Inspired by its heritage as a center for play and music, Gymboree recently introduced the Hop 'n' Roll collection of mix and match clothes for kids. Featuring the high-quality we've come to know and expect from Gymboree clothes, the Hop 'N' Roll collection is colorful basics literally designed for play.

Hop 'n' Roll

We were immediately impressed with the concept and selection in the Hop 'n' Roll collection. The pieces maintain the fun and youthful look we expect from Gymboree, but at a lower price point. The collection lacks some of the decorative details or finish of the traditional Gymboree collections making them feel more suited for the playground than, say, church or a dressier occasion.

My kids are literally hopping and rolling in their Hop 'n' Roll pieces to celebrate the beautiful weather and the (almost) end of school. (And you can hop over to Facebook or Instagram to see the cute video because TSM can't seem to play well with either!)

The girls Hop 'n' Roll pieces include tops, ruffled skirts, skorts, cartwheel shorts, dresses, leggings and even accessories. We were provided outfits for this post and have since added several coordinating pieces for my daughter. The dresses and leggings work now, through the summer and into the fall and the mix and match color scheme means she can pair any leggings with any dress and they'll all look great.

She also loves the Hop 'n' Roll rompers. (She also loves showing off her new hair cut!)

Both my boys are hard on clothes (that's an understatement) so I appreciate that this player is tough enough to survive all day outside play and still wash up well. As far as my boys are concerned, you can't go wrong with a simple striped tee and pull-on shorts.
