Summer break is just around the corner and as far as my kids are concerned that means one thing: it's time to swim. For me, it means time to pick new swimsuits and stock up on sun gear. Whether or not they are taking swim lessons year round, I always get my kids new swimsuits every summer - a summer suit has to do far more than just provide coverage in the pool. Now we ask our suits to help protect our skin, live up to the demands of life at the beach, in chlorine-filled pools and slipping down the slip and slides. It's a lot to ask, but it's also a must-have to keep the kids happy and safe.
Garnet Hill Kids Swim 2015
Garnet Hill Kids 2015 Swim collection has everything we look for in our must have summer suit: UPF 50+ sun protection, smart design and built to last. For my active girl, we usually pick a two-piece style swimsuit with sturdy rashguard and coordinating bottom. The Wave Rider Long-Sleeve Rashguard and coordinating Bikini Bottom is perfect for her. The Rashguard offers full coverage with long sleeves and a higher neck. From a design perspective, we love the color blocked sleeves in a bight pattern as well as the fun metallic graphic on the front. The Bikini Bottom also has sun protection, side ruching and elastic waist and leg openings for easier on and off.
Just add water. This girl is ready to rock summer at the beach, the pool or the sprinkler.
Best of Summer
Our favorite common thread among the Garnet Hill Kids swim collection is the bright colors and playful patterns. From stripes to ice cream to blooms, the colorful prints are playfully perfect. The collection features a wide assortment of styles so there's something to suit every needs. We love the mix and match rashguard tops and bottoms. All the suits have fun details like ruffles and coordinating design accents.
Here are our picks for the best of summer.
