Spring Must Have: Monogrammed Rain Jacket
"April showers bring May flowers." I know I am more than ready for the flowers to bloom so we can get the show on the road with nicer weather. But, in the meantime I need to be prepared for the rain showers. My new rainy day essential is the Charles River New Englander Rain Jacket. Not only is it waterproof (it is a rain jacket after all) and packed with smart fit features, but now you can add your monogram. As far as I'm concerned monogramming takes anything up a notch and this rain jacket is no exception.

The Rain Jacket is quite lightweight, but is constructed with wind and water proof material with a woven backing. It's mesh lined and has a vented front for increased air flow. Both the hood and the bottom hem are adjustable with a shock cord string. In addition, there's velcro on the sleeves to keep them tight around your wrist. We're traveling next week and this is definitely going with us. The lightweight material means it's easy to pack and bring along just in case.
The Rain Jacket is available in a rainbow of colors - I'm wearing Mint, a fun, fresh color for spring. My jacket is monogrammed in gray thread which looks great with the coordinating reflective details.

For sizing reference, I ordered a size medium to allow plenty of room for a sweater underneath. The sizing is definitely generous and I could probably get away with a small and still have room for a sweater or sweatshirt.
