Chaco Review

chaco loyalist

I picked up my daughter from school the other day, and was greeted by a scraped knee and a playground story of her shoe falling off.

Just when I thought I had shoe sizing down, she goes and grows on me. Then I buy a new pair and in order to get more than two weeks'?? wear out of them, they have to be a bit too big. Hence the weepy après-play tales.

If there'??s one thing I discovered that Chaco knows is how to keep shoes on your kid'??s feet. Known as the shoe that'??s '??fit for adventure,'? these shoes are for active children. With a capital "A" for All-day-I-run-and-play. So that means comfort, cuteness and, most importantly, control. They'??re easy on, easy off (that is, off when you need them to be'?¦the instep strap gives a great tight fit).

I love the new Loyalist style (seen above), available this fall. This little Mary Jane rocks the playground and dresses up with style--all while giving my daughter arch support (with their LUVSEAT'?¢ design) for proper alignment while running, jumping, or just standing in line at the water fountain. The EcoTread'?¢ outsole contains 25% recycled material and is minus the marks all over my floor.

An unbelievable added bonus'??they'??re machine washable! Making them fit easily into my day, almost as well as they fit into her adventures.

The Loyalist is available at www.chacos.com for $60.
