Last week I had the amazing opportunity to walk the runway during New York City's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at the first ever Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would have the chance to walk during fashion week, much less at 37 weeks pregnant.

Strut is all about showing moms that fashion doesn't have to stop at motherhood. Real moms of all ages and sizes walked the runway in fashion that is affordable, accessible, and most importantly stylish. It was an empowering feeling to be able to show other moms that it doesn't take much to take care of yourself and your style.

Although I am nearing the end of my pregnancy, I have never felt more beautiful than I did as I made my way down that runway. As the lights shined on me and onlookers watched, I was so proud to show off what a real woman looks like pregnant, swollen feet and all.

I was thrilled to be able to wear one of my favorite maternity designers down the runway for both of my looks. I fell in love with HATCH Collection when they sent me samples last month and I found them to be versatile, comfortable, and full of style. When the stylist for the show pulled both dresses and I looked at the labels and saw HATCH, I knew that these were going to be "the looks" to show off on the runway.

The thing that I loved most about my first dress was the bright blue color.

The material of the dress was soft, light, and just what I needed at this stage of pregnancy. This is the perfect dress for a girls night out on the town or a nice dinner with your husband. The v-neck of the dress hit in just the right spot and I loved the way it casually draped on the side of the dress.

There are very few moments in my life that I felt as beautiful as I did in this dress. And that's a lot for me to say, especially at nine months pregnant.

My second dress was just as amazing. It made me feel sexy while still being extremely comfortable. I was unsure of the lighter color at first, as I thought it would wash my skin out, but once I tried it on, I knew that it was perfect.

I love the cut out details on the arms to give this simple dress a little bit of detail. The fabric was light and comfortable enough to wear all night long for a night out on the town.

Yet again, HATCH Collection has made me fall in love with their clothes. I couldn't imagine wearing any other designer down the runway for such an important fashion show that embodies everything a mom represents.
