Like most of my generation, I'm thoroughly engrossed by reality television, but now that I'm a mom I'm especially fascinated by families. Sure, a reality tv guilty kinda pleasure has its place, but I love watching uplifting programs even more! Catching a glimpse of how families make it through their daily lives always intrigues me. Each family is so different, yet there seems to be a method to the madness in everyone's organized chaos and I often find myself taking something away that I can use to make my own family run more smoothly. I'm assuming, for instance, that Ro and Mia McGhee of the new UPtvseries, Growing Up McGhee, have loads of tips for how to keep it together. They're parents of sextuplets after all!
Sextuplets...can you imagine? I run around like a chicken with my head cut off regularly and I only have two kiddos. Haha! Parenting my little ones is, at the same time, a joy and a challenge, hysterical and not always so funny. It's so many things at once. I'm sure you fellow parents can relate. And when you multiply that by five, I bet the tears and triumphs are even more intense. The McGhees have surely learned some hard-won lessons along the way that all us parents can identify with. Taking care of five babies at the same time must have been no easy feat, but now they can all walk...and talk...so I bet life just got really REAL! I mean my four year old doesn't stop talking...like ever, so I can't wait to see how the McGhees handle that mania with five! Bwah!
