Run and Jump at Brooklyn Children's Museum

On the next rainy day run over to the new Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action exhibit at the Brooklyn Children's Museum.

This is a a new, extremely hands-on exhibit that lets kids try out activities they’ve never before encountered and helps develop balance, strength, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance while they pretend to be action heroes in training.

There's a Snowboarding and Surfing adventure gallery, a KungFu Forest, the Climbing Canyon, the Flycycle Sky gallery, and the Action Star Training Center and much more. And don't miss the Museum’s special sports-related and exercise-oriented programs this summer:

* The new Sportacular Weekend family festival Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12, 10am-5pm (All ages)
* Play Lab Workshop Series: Let’s Get Healthy!, Saturday and Sunday, July 18 and 19, 11:30am-12:30pm (Ages 2 1/2-5) Pre-registration required; call (718) 735-4400 x106
* Chase Wonder Why Workshop Series: Breakfast of Champions, Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26, 11:30am-12:30pm and 3-4pm (Ages 5+)
