For Valentine's day, I pulled out one of my favorite dresses--a sleeveless knit Ralph Lauren sweater dress. This is the dress I wore back in 2002 the night i met my husband.
The fashion lesson--good investments pay off. The dress not only packs well (it resists wrinkles) it also stands the test of time. My husband didn't remember it unprompted, but he did appreciate my sentimentality.
I wore the cream dress with a scarf and heeled boots. It was fashionable and cozy for a romantic winter's night. I did a quick photo session before leaving the kids with a sitter. My little one wanted in on the action!
