This week I'm reinventing some fall fashions from last year. The color-blocked skirt I found at Brooklyn Industries last year in a bit of shopping to support local industry after Hurricane Sandy (yes, we are closing in on a year).
To revive the skirt, I went to H&M to find a trendy top to work with the skirt. I found this sleeveless top with a touch of leather at the collar and I thought it was perfect.
I added an old LOFT necklace that is 4-5 years old. Another accent was the braid. I had it done by the ladies from the Butterfly Salon (for more braid ideas check out this post http://www.momtrends.com/2013/09/video-quick-and-easy-braids/ ).
The shoes are now celebrating four years in my closet. Good 'ole Stuart Weitzman. These beauties were a calling my name a few years back, and they just seem to get better with time. I've had them re-soled twice now. They are sublimely comfortable and go with everything. I spied something similar here on Amazon--also with stretch.
I hope youll share what youve been wearing on Monday Mingle. Monday Mingle is a fashionable collaboration between me, Jill from Glamamom and Kristin from BonBonRoseGirls. Each week we post about our personal style and then invite our friends to join in the fun. Today Kristin is hosting to head on over to BonBon.

Momtrends was not paid for this post. As always, we get a lot of free clothing to style. But no one paid me to put any of this together.
