Denim can carry you into the cool spring days perfectly in style. I'm not quite ready to put my bare legs out there in 50-something weather. Denim works as a transition choice. This is a super-trendy patchwork pair. The relaxed skinny fit makes this a good everyday choice--it's a great denim trend for moms.
But I want to lighten up. Layering a colored top in a pastel like this coral one, makes the outfit look seasonal. Then I added some fun, casual jewelry and wedge sandals. Because it's time to show the toe!
These jeans are certainly something I could take to the playground and go on the slide or go out to a casual lunch with friends. I need clothes like these that are casual and easy to slip on--I don't have a ton of time to get ready in the morning.
I'm wearing the Pintuck Pleated Georgette top in coral from NYDJ ($85) and the Karmin Patched Stretch Skinny Jeans patch jean ($140) is also theirs. Jewelry is from Charming Charlie (except for the charm necklace from Stella & Dot). Shoes are the comfy Cores Sling from Hush Puppies.
What do you think about the jeans? NYDJ sent them to have me weigh in? What denim trends are you wearing right now? Leave me a comment or link below so I can check it out.

Momtrends was not paid for this post. As always, we get a lot of free clothing to style. But no one paid me to put any of this together.
