Traveling in Style With Kids

Traveling doesn't have to end when you have kids. It takes a bit more strategy and a lot more stuff, but there is no reason why you and your children can't enjoy far away places and adventures beyond your backyard. Momtrends recently had the chance to learn about some items to travel as well as connect with interesting new brands like Baby Cargo, Citrus Lane and the Peninsula in NYC to discover how traveling can be a vital part of your life as mom, and even a stylish and carefree one.

Starting with traveling with baby, we learned all about Baby Cargo, a modern baby gear company that features three strollers lightweight and stylish strollers. I admired their chic designs and beautiful colors as well as their innovative functionality that makes them easy to fold up and carry around - making the comfortable for holding and carrying on planes, cars, trains and buses. We are really excited about the cool diaper bag (sold separately) that will be available in June. This simple, yet innovative design combines fashion with functionality in a truly unique way (a detailed review on that very soon!).

Family Ski Trip to Gunstock Mountain in New Hampshire

When you travel you also want to make sure that you are staying in a place that is kid-friendly, which depending on your needs, can mean anything from services, food to how a room is set up. The Peninsula is quite a cool spot for families where kids of any age can take advantage of their unique amenities like strollers, full-size cribs, robes, mini-fridges, changing tables, toddler beds with specialty linens as well as baby monitors, books, and sleep devices that are available upon request. This is a huge space saver that makes packing a little easier. Additionally, the Peninsula in NYC really works with their guests to accommodate their needs by customizing your itinerary and meeting any needs you have with your child's diet.

We also learned more about Citrus Lane, a company that specializes in delivering healthy and useful products to families. This is especially a great idea when you are traveling to a Grandparents where kids will be greeted with yummy treats and surprises. For only $25 (with a monthly subscription), the boxes are a great way to both give a gift and surprise your kids with something new and compact while traveling.

Although traveling is different with kids, it doesn't have be completely out of your life. It is all about planning, organizing and having the proper products and tools to get you there.
