Mom Boss Launch Barnes & Noble NYC

On Saturday, I launched Mom Boss out into the world. The Mom Boss kick-off event was held at Barnes & Noble. A huge thanks to Clorox for sponsoring this tour and giving us goodies. The event was fabulous and I was thrilled to have so many people I love there to support me.

I gathered a panel of Mom Boss experts to share wisdom with the moms gathered. We had the Co-Founders of Zutano, Uli & Michael Belenky, the Founder of Morgan Hutchinson, and Therapist Kate Whyte.

The panelists shared how they carved a path towards success. They were open, honest and engaging. I loved how Michael and Uli talked about building a home that would also house the business. Morgan talked about her new Buru White Label--a leap for her brand. And Kate shared how she tackles growing her practice while also being present for her family.

One thing is for sure, being a Mom Boss is about sharing resources. It's about giving your family the best and creating a community around you that is supportive. I'm here to help you chart your path to success. This book is meant to give you answers and the events are an extension of the book.

Don't worry if you missed this one, we've got lots more events coming up. Check out this page for the latest listings

As I head out on the tour, I'll be bringing along my best ideas and an open mind. I want to get inspired by my readers to find out MORE. What you need and how I can help. I hope you'll join me along the way.

We've hit the winter lull--that lengthy stretch of season with no plans, no parties, nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I have to admit that at first, I welcomed the quiet obligation-free weekends of January. After the nonstop hustle-bustle pace of November and December, my family more

Speaking of travel, I know I'll be bringing my Clorox supplies with me. For plane travel, I need Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes. They help remove germs, bacteria, kitchen grease, and countless other lifeforms found on planes and trains. And then for the messy, wonderful welcome-home messes, I've got the Clorox 2® Pre-Treat Stain Remover Pen is specially designed to pre-treat stains on colors, and features TripleSolve™ Technology. I'm ready for the wonderful mess of motherhood and Mom Boss life.

While we were talking business, the kids were having a blast. There were art activities and snacks for the kids. A big thank you to our goody bag sponsors: Klutz, The New Primal beef jerky, Cello Whisps cheese snacks, Chatbooks coupons, and OGO Jar.

Have you tried Cello Whisps? They are cheesy and delish. And the The New Primal is fantastic if you are going paleo and looking to add more protein into the mix. We know that sugar is a no-no, we need to find snacks that give kids energy in the best way.

The kids loved working on this GIANT Debbie Lynn coloring poster.

And finally, a huge thank you to my team. There's no way to pull off events like this without a support system, and I've got them!
