Heading to the beach? Fashion-savvy parents rely on Yoya for all the chicest apparel. We stopped in the Hudson St. shop and found trendy LemLem tops for boys (we're infatuated with this brand dreamed up by model/mom Liya Kebede--everything is made in Ethiopia--read more here) and sweet CdeC tunics for girls.
Whether your heading to the Hamptons, Nantucket or even your community pool, the selection at Yoya is unsurpassed. Yes, yes, we love Old Navy for summer basics just as much as the next mom, but your kids need some flare in the summer wardrobe--think embellishments, hand stitching, unexpected color and the breeziest fabrics. You'll find them here.
Good taste comes at a price. Don't expect H&M prices at checkout. Remember you're paying for the relaxing shopping experience and for the fine taste of the owners. They've put together some of my favorite smaller brands all under one roof--and shopping there is refreshingly attitude free.
