Wintuk: A Whimsical Winter Show for the Whole Family
There are so many things about the holidays that we love and one of them is the exciting shows and events that we can enjoy with our kids. Of course the Radio City Rockettes is the quintessential holiday show, we also think Wintuk, a whimsical and high-energy winter tale by the Quebec-based performers Cirque du Soleil is up there as a go-to show to check out this winter.
Designed for kids of all ages, the show follows a young boy as he searches for snow that includes exciting theatrical effects and thrilling acrobatics that the Cirque du Soleil is renowned for. The musical also includes a cast of over 50 performers and artisans that showcase their unbelievable flexibility while walking on a clothes line, acrobatic ballet, and extreme bicycling. A show for all the whole family that will leave everyone in awe as they enjoy this exciting and imaginative holiday extravaganza.
To celebrate the opening the opening of the show, Madison Square Garden Entertainment and Cirque du Soleil have launched a $1 Million Snow Day contest where 100 lucky fans share cash prizes if snow falls in NYC on November 17th (opening of the show). Fans (18 years and older) can enter starting on October 16th through November 9th to win the prize by visiting cirquedusoleil/wintuksnowday.
