Win Tickets to American Idiot
Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment invite New Yorkers and visitors to say goodbye, once and for all, to those bad memories of 2010 at the fourth annual Good Riddance Day.
They are bringing in a giant Cintas shredder along with a dumpster and sledgehammer will be stationed on the Broadway Plaza between 46th and 47th streets for the public to discard distasteful, embarrassing and downright depressing memories from 2010. Perhaps some report cards? Alimony bills? Whatever has bogged you down this year--shred it symbolically.
Cast members from Green Days smash-hit Broadway musical, American Idiot will be on hand to not only bid farewell to their own unpleasant memories from 2010 but also award the Time of Their Life to the most creative entry with an American Idiot VIP experience: tickets, a backstage tour and a merchandise package for two. For more information, visit www.AmericanIdiotonBroadway.com/goodriddance
The public can also write their bad memories on stationery available on-site and those who cant make it to Times Square can submit memories online at www.timessquarenyc.org to be shredded.
