Look Good Feel Better is partnering with C. Wonder and Fashion Project to raise awareness and funds for Look Good Feel Better to help women overcome the appearance related side effects of cancer treatment through September 18! Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to helping women living with cancer manage the appearance side effects by hosting free workshops and providing other educational resources that teach beauty and styling techniques.
To support the cause, I did some closet cleaning. I gathered items that were still pretty, useful and in great condition.
Now how to get these items to those in need.
Here’s how it works: Donate gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories in a donation bin at participating C. Wonder locations or online. Customers who participate by donating items in-store or online will receive 20% off a C. Wonder purchase of $100 or more.
The donated items will then be sold online by Fashion Project. Fifty-five percent of the proceeds from each online sale will be donated to Look Good Feel Better. You can also attend a VIP in-store event that will take place at 11 participating stores (head here for locations and times). The events will feature light bites, sips and styling tips, and 10% of the sales during the events will be donated to Look Good Feel Better.
Who wins? Everyone. You get a cleaner closet. Look Good Feel Better gets more funds to help women living with cancer manage the appearance side effects of cancer treatment and improve their self-esteem. One of the great things LGFB does are FREE workshops to help share beauty and styling techniques with women who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other forms of treatment to help them manage the appearance side effects.
It's about hope. Feeling beautiful can go a long way towards boosting spirits. These changes can impact a woman’s self-esteem, sense of confidence and hope at a time when she needs them the most. Visit lookgoodfeelbetter.org to learn more.
