Fall is officially here and for many of us that means transitioning to a darker more sedate wardrobe. But the bold few know that fashion is all about experimenting. We've seen some interesting trends so far and we like how these gals are refusing to blend in with the crowd. Pop out with neons and bright colors--we say why not zig when others are zagging. We've put together a few ideas on how to add polished pops of color to your wardrobe this fall. Start by adding some unexpected leg appeal with Very Opaque Tights from Kate Spade($28)
Speaking of being polished, if you're a little weary of this and can't bear to break tradition (we know- but stripes and polka dots do actually work well together), start off small by painting your nails in a flashy neon like Natalie Portman. This small but striking move can alter your outfit and break you out of the traditional "fall" colors. We really like Essie's Neon line ($7.99/each).
Or make the same kind of statement with one piece like a bag or sunglasses. Even though it's colder, there's still lots of sun. Feel protected and stylish with theseSelima Optique glasses in the blues and purples that we absolutely love.
An accessory like glasses or a bright ring like this perfume bauble by Marc Jacobs ($42) can drastically alter an outfit. Let yourself play a little this fall--and we don't just mean in a big pile of leaves.
