This summer was packed with blogging events that included the kids. A highlight was a screening of Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails. My family made the trip to HIT Entertainments headquarters to immerse ourselves in all things Thomas. We got to play at some awesome train tables, eat snack off Thomas plates and then we got a sneak peek at the all-new Thomas movie.
Thomas & Friends: Hero of the Rails is a big deal for HIT. It is Thomas'?? first ever CGI-animated movie. The movie introduces a sharp fresh look for Thomas as well as plenty of new friends and new destinations. I will tell you all the kids (and parents) were mesmerized at the preview. The 60-minute feature is about Thomas helping a broken down engine named Hiro. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plot to keep even non-Thomas fans captivated.
Plus, the DVD has extra features, such as the Thomas & Spencer Racing Game, Guess Which Train Game and more. Rating: G, suggested for kids Ages 2-5. Now you can own it too. The movie released this past week ($19.98)
