Stop the grumbling tweets and Facebook posts about the weather already. We all get it. It's been on long, miserable winter. My thought is that it's pointless to complain about the weather. My bad mood can't push the thermometer up--it only spreads like a virus through the rest of the family.
Embrace where you are. That's been our motto. We splurged on an extra set of boots, said yes to hot chocolates, encouraged snuggles and movie nights in--anything to keep the good family vibes going. When we do head outdoors (and we've been doing that often for ski practices), we rely on hand-warmers (bought them in bulk on Amazon this winter), thick wool socks and soup.
My daughters have consumed about 1000 bowls of Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup this winter.
