How's your shopping list going for the big shopping weekend? Black Friday and Cyber Monday are filling up my in box and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.
I've got to get a game plan!
I want great deals, but I don't want to ruin the holiday weekend hunting them down. I'm using my OneNote strategy to get organized. First, you want to know what you want. Don't get distracted by the big savings numbers and "doorbusters" you know what you want to buy, focus people!
Of course you'll want to check out the hottest tech gifts. We picked a few in our gift guide and Microsoft has a slew of other deals (click here to see them). The tool I'm using this year to keep it all together is The OneNote Clipper.
This is an awesome app that lives on my Chrome browser and helps me clip and save webpages to my OneNote. Of course everything is synced so I can check what I saved on my Lumina phone, my mac or my iPad. Total synchronicity. Score.
This week I started my list. Check out how it looks on my OneNote.

Yes, I want to get some goodies from Stella & Dot. And now the link is saved with other items on my list in one neat and tidy spot. I love having my shopping organized.
The clipper is also a quick and handy tool for capturing and organizing digital coupons, considering many stores will scan coupon bar codes right from your phone. Click here to get more details on Clipper.
Microsoft has another neat tool for you to help shop smarter Office Lens for OneNote. It also works with OneNote--don't clip coupons. Go digital and save everything in your phone or laptop (of course it's all synced--save on one device with OneNote and you can access it on all of them).
Use Office Lens on your Windows Phone or snap a picture straight from OneNote on your iPhone, or iPad to capture the deals you want to keep for later. The image is automatically cropped, cleaned up and saved to OneNote so you can hit the road. Get OfficeLens here.
Armed with your phone and Office tools and apps you're going to OWN this Black Friday. Stay focused, stay organized and have a great holiday.
