You know what's not cool?
A 55-degree June day.
Yeah, that's the temperature my car told me today when I went to pick up my son from preschool. Certainly not cold by objective measures, but downright "freezing" for this late spring day.
Good thing I had a stylish oversized sweatshirt to throw on. Seriously, I feel like I've been relying on my hoodie collection a lot these past few weeks. The weather has been positively unseasonable...
The school pick-up line is far from a sartorial runway show, but it's definitely chock-full of busy Mamas who dress to impress, and want to try to look, at minimum, somewhat put together. But, because my days are generally spent at home taking care of two kiddos, working, cleaning, and running errands, I want to be cozy and comfortable too... especially when it's going to be 50-something degrees in June!
My answer to that fashion conundrum: stylish athleisure items... and cool sweatshirts have become a staple in my closet and car (hey, I'm an on the go gal!).
I love these Project 360 sweatshirts. They're equal parts comfortable and cute. Slouchy, soft, and stylish... the ideal trifecta! Plus, they support important causes.
Hopefully, I won't be needing a sweatshirt for much longer (come on, Mother Nature!). Still, they can add a comfy and chic layer this summer when it cools down in the backyard, at the beach, or even at the school (or camp!) drop-off and pick-up lines.
