You know what's not cool?
A 55-degree June day.
Yeah, that's the temperature my car told me today when I went to pick up my son from preschool. Certainly not cold by objective measures, but downright "freezing" for this late spring day.
Good thing I had a stylish oversized sweatshirt to throw on. Seriously, I feel like I've been relying on my hoodie collection a lot these past few weeks. The weather has been positively unseasonable...
The school pick-up line is far from a sartorial runway show, but it's definitely chock-full of busy Mamas who dress to impress, and want to try to look, at minimum, somewhat put together. Hopefully, I won't be needing a sweatshirt for much longer (come on, Mother Nature!). Still, they can add a comfy and chic layer this summer when it cools down in the backyard, at the beach, or even at the school (or camp!) drop-off and pick-up lines.
