Peony season is fleeting. The gorgeous pretty-in-pink flowers will probably only be around for another week or so. Ah, but it was a gorgeous month of big, beautiful blooms. Le sigh.
I was in the North Fork of Long Island this past weekend, and stopped at a farm stand that was selling nothing but pink bunches of peonies. Of course, I had to have a bouquet. Just $12 for the quintessential spring flower. My Instagram feed needed it. Ha! Yes, I'm a "basic" cliché.
I'll be scooping up some more bunches the next few days and enjoying them while I can. Wouldn't it be nice it could perpetually be peony season? I can't make that happen, but I can snatch up a few fun styles and accessories featuring my favorite flower.
