Though fall weather isn't quite here yet, fall fashions definitely are. Petunia Pickle Bottom recently launched their Fall 2013 diaper bag collection and it truly embodies the coming season - sophisticated prints in a rich array of cozy colors. Little fun fact - while most diaper bag brands release new bags or prints maybe once a year (or less), Petunia co-founder and head designer DeNai Jones hand-designs 8-12 new prints to be released every spring and fall! Hence the ability of their bags to always lead the pack on style. Here's a peak at some of the gorgeous new prints and products from Petunia's new Fall '13 Collection.
Bold & Bright. I'm loving the rich fall tones of the Wistful Weekender in Notting Hill Stop, Boxy Backpack in Happiness in Hamburg, and Sashay Satchel in Whispering Wildflowers(l. to r.).I used a Boxy Backpack when my kids were little before pairing down to the Sashay Satchel which I still use as my everyday purse. The Weekender is the perfect size for overnights or packing for an afternoon at the beach or pool with all three of my kids.
Autumn Golds. I can't pull off wearing mustard but the chevron stripe on the Cross Town Clutch in Sunshine in Scandinavia might be too cute to resist. This season, I was also excited to hear that Petunia expanded their Embossed Collection to include the Weekender and accessories like this Stowaway Sleeve in Union Square Stop - equal parts protection and style. I'm partial to the Glazed fabric, but fans of the brand continue to request more brocade fabrics like the new Golden Topaz Roll shown on the Boxy and organic cotton like the Wistful Weekender in Moon Garden.
Naturals & Neutrals. If you fear color or love a more subdued palette, you'll love Petunia's collection of diaper bags and accessories in a wash of greys, tans, blacks, and browns. Whether you need to carry your cash (Wanderlust Wallet in Midnight in Malmo) or your cosmetics (Travel Train Case in Champs-Elysees Stop), your baby's important details (Beginnings Baby Book in Hotel de Ville Stop) or her diapers (Sashay Satchel in Timeless Tulips),these new releases are big on style without bright colors.
