What are you wearing on Turkey Day? I think I've come up with the perfect Thanksgiving outfit.
I'm celebrating in Colorado this year with friends on a little ski vacation, so it's going to be pretty laid back, but I think this Amana top is the perfect blend of festive and boho casual. Of course I found it at Anthropologie--the ultimate in boho style.
As always, Anthro priced the top very nicely--it's $88 and comes in four colors. This moss color works nicely with my skin tone. Amana Lace Top ($88).
Though I tried to get out the door under $100 I failed. I saw the Snow Frost necklace ($54) and thought "gee they are kind of perfect together"--and so they are. I think the longer length is great for higher necklines.
Spiked Apple Cider Pops
September in the South is, in my opinion, still summer. The eighties and nineties always prevail and make the traditional fall flavors that I crave so much slightly out of reach. As much as I want to relax and sip on some hot cider, at the moment, I still need something iced. ...read more

Boozy Salted Caramel Apple Cocktail
If there is a time of year that I consider "my season," it is surely fall! I love everything about autumn from the crisp air to the brilliant colors of the foliage. The mountain landscape by far is my favorite. Whether I'm in the Rockies or the Appalachians, the mountains are ...read more
Since I'm on the topic of jewels, I want to share my little earrings from Starling. They are a jewelry brand out of California and they make the sweetest designs like my rose gold and black diamond Collette earrings. You can completely personalize them over on the website http://www.starlingjewelry.com/shop/colette-diamond-pave-earrings. I'm crazy for the craftmanship and style.
To pull the rest of the look together, I went with the tried and true. You've see the frayed denim jeans before (and you'll likely see them again because they are heavy in the rotation right now). Once again, I put them with a classic pump, but for Thanksgiving you might want some cute flats, I just think cropped jeans look especially fetching with cropped pants.
Perfect Thanksgiving Outfit
- Works overtime--you'll likely be in it for hours
- Looks good in photos
- Isn't too fussy--focus on one accessory
