) that I really get into the spirit. Yep, that even means wearing the red, white and blue with pride.
Last week Ralph Lauren shared the outfits the athletes would be wearing. Not everyone applauded, buy I was keen on them. I love the
. Well, the sweaters SOLD OUT in like a minute. Missed out on that fashion boat. Undaunted, I vowed to still get into the spirit.
Time to do some belated birthday shopping in Soho. I picked up this Blue Label Intarsia-Knit Wool Sweater ($398)--it's equally patriotic right? It's a chunky wool-and-alpaca blend and is so cozy. If I were in Sochi I could totally see me curling up by the fire apres ski with a hot chocolate. Since I was shopping, I got sucked into the accessories department. I got these Western Cat Eye Sunglasses ($200) too.
My weekend casual look WILL take me to ski lodges, just not the ones in Russia. Think Connecticut or Vermont instead. In addition to my new sunnies, I paired it with my Old Navy jeans and these fringy boots I scored on Zappos. The
has the perfect heel and a color that goes with everything.
