I'm sharing my top styling tips for girls with long hair. Both my girls have long hair--they love the look, but HATE the brushing. Yes, they want the trends they see on their favorite shows and on social media--braids, ponytails, buns--but they fuss over styling sessions. These girls watch hair videos on youtube with wrapt attention. The trouble is getting them to sit still while I work some hair magic. Did I mention they hate tangles?
JOHNSON’S® trio of products are going to make getting ready for school easier than ever this year. I can pull off the braids and get them to sit still, because we've beaten the cycle of tangles. Here's how it works:
hosted a back-to-school styling event in NYC featuring celebrity hair stylist Josué Perez to kick off conversation around #TangleTalk. Josue's team whipped up the cute French braids you see in the video and shared these fabulous styling tips.

The Best Overnight French Toast Recipe
We've hit the winter lull--that lengthy stretch of season with no plans, no parties, nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I have to admit that at first, I welcomed the quiet obligation-free weekends of January. After the nonstop hustle-bustle pace of November and December, my family ...read more
The 3-step NO MORE TANGLES® regimen is perfect for moms who want every day to be a "great hair day".
1. Cleanse with a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. We use the JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Thin & Straight (Green) but there's also a curly version
2. Nourish utilizing a leave-in conditioner
3. Style using a brush or wide tooth comb and a detangling spray.
Realistically, I'm not going to step it up and braid every day. But I can maintain the girls hair well, even on those days I resort to quick ponytails, by using JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES®. TIP: for girls with curly hair, my 7 y.o. for example, Josué told me to scrunch in some JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Leave-in Conditioner to enhance her curls if the hair is feeling dry. It worked!
When I want to do something special for picture day or just because, the girls won't fuss because we are living tangle-free!.
Plus, now that I've got one heading into middle school, I know she wants to have me step back. Giving her the right tools to make her hair look great is a win. Armed with JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® Detangling Spray she'll be ready for her 8:00 school bell in style!
The JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® hair care regimen delivers so much more by addressing the ease of styling--she can do it all on her own (she makes a mean bun!). We're now ready to find some great YouTube styles and have a fantastic year with no tears or tangles!
