National Dance Institute Family Performance
Summer always heralds great dance in NYC. Here's one for the whole family called The Storyteller. Based on stories your kids will recognize and some that will surprise, 200 National Dance Institute children weave a diverse narrative of human connections in a performance led by the Storyteller, Isaiah Sheffer.
The work features Allegra Kent and Frank Wood. Highlights of include the poignant Tale From Egypt, a rendition of Aesops Fable The Lion and the Mouse, and Hansel and Gretel featuring two excerpts from Engelbert Humperdincks opera.
